  • Development & Production Coordinator

Rose graduated from McMaster University with an Honours degree in Communication studies and Theatre & Film. She then went on to get her Master's degree in Media Production from Ryerson University, creating a podcast based on her own transracial adoptee experience called Identify and I don’t. Creating IDAID was a fast-tracked lesson on how to move through pre-production, production, and post-production under very tight deadlines and budgets. After designing the multimedia and sound design for the Hamilton Fringe Festival production, First Class, she co-wrote and directed her production, SHAPED, which played at McMaster’s Black Box Theatre. Rose has a background in production, communications, and social media.

Rose worked in the props department on The Hardy Boys season 2 under Property Master Seka Morris, diving into another area of interest and developing her understanding of the props department.

Rose worked as an assistant to Producers on the film The Swearing Jar, learning about all aspects of producing from hiring, budget and financing to creative decisions and how to most effectively work collaboratively.
